Happy Super Soul Sunday! 

It is almost June and I realized I kept putting off writing a May newsletter. I debated not writing one because I didn't have everything all together but I decided not to let perfectionist toxicity stop me from just writing about where I am at. 

I know we just had a full super flower blood moon eclipse a couple days ago! Wow just writing that out, I felt a certain way! I’m not an astrologer but to paraphrase my good friend David (Davey) Melchionne, who I consider my personal astrologer, say's:

 “Consider this time like an outage in your home (because the moon at this time is in the earth's shadow) you can’t really do much than just be. You go to wash the dishes but forget there’s no water. Turn on a light, no power. This is a time to rest, recharge, and surrender to the moment if you can.”

I feel like my body was gearing up for this eclipse season weeks ago. Last week I returned home from an incredible, magical, healing retreat with Alexandra Roxo near Zion National Park in Utah at a place called Lazalu. I recommend checking it out, it is a very special place on Nuwuvi (Southern Paiute) and Pueblo land. 

I almost didn’t go, feeling like I didn't deserve it, but I am so unbelievably glad I went! It was 5 days of intense, transformational work. The retreat involved Alexandra’s embodiment work, writing prompts, movement in a cave (that may have been an old birthing cave), along with various partner work and theatre based activities. I am so grateful for the experience after this year. I was reminded again how nature and storytelling is medicine. To come together in community, to work on our depths is sacred, necessary and what we need more of.

What is an Embodied Storytelling Oracle Readings? 

The hour session looks like an Oracle reading followed by theatrical activities/exercises to put different themes, stories and characters that come up in the reading in your body! I will be doing the activities along side you so no need to fear the word “theatrical” we will be playing and exploring together! 

You will leave the session with specific embodiments that you can continue to explore and practice on your own at home. This approach allows you to put the wisdom of the cards into your body.
