About the author
Author of contemporary romance featuring rock stars, small towns, a healthy dose of angst, some steamy times and always a happy ever after!
When not writing, I can usually be found binge watching teen drama series on Netflix, or supporting Spurs from my armchair, and running around after my two feline children, Corey and Elsa.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2023It was nice reading but I got real frustrated with Matt. Was he in love with Bree? Not in the beginning cause he avoided her and ran from everything. Playing with Elle wasn't right either and with kissing her was just confusing her. Four years and he never looked her up or had anything to do with her. Also Scott was not nice to her and was trying to break them up. Why go to LA anyway? Your in Britain they have studios too. Why didn't he text Bree when his dad was put in the hospital? Why did he shut her off and everyone else? This is why I had problems with the story as I didn't see the romance.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2020I've read several books written by Julie Archer; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the characters.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2020I really enjoyed this book! It was fast paced and flowed nicely. The turn of events were done beautifully and the ending was terrific!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2020This is an intense read about second chance love. Bree & Matt had a young messy break-up when Matt followed his career as a rock star, he comes back to town to bail out his brother and ends up interacting with Bree as a result. They can't deny that they still have feelings for each other but as we all know second chances take work. The story developed slowly for me as there were lots of characters and relationships to keep track of. Bree & Matt had minimal interaction WITH each other till after 50% of the way through the book. I felt like some of the other story lines should have been cleaned up a little bit as I was left hanging and feeling like pieces were unresolved. Bree was great - didn't much care for Matt - he seemed a bit spineless, but none the less it was a good read that had a nice HEA.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2020This is a new author to me, but I will certainly be looking out for her work in the future. This is Mat and Bree’s story. Mat chose his career instead of Bree leaving her heartbroken, and now after 4-years apart he is back as his family needs him. Seeing Mat again bring back all the emotions and feelings from the past, but can Bree forgive and move on as they have many challenges to overcome. If Mat leaves again will this be the end of them? This is a food story which is a 2nd chance rock-star romance, and is filled with drama, angst, and love. I was intrigued and hooked throughout, and I look forward to reading move from this author, and I recommend this for all.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2020Wish You Once More is the story of Bree Sheridan and Mat Redmond. They had been in love but Mat wanted to pursue his dream of becoming a rock star. So he left town four years ago and left Bree behind with a majorly broken heart. Now he has come back to help his brother and they cross paths again. This time though Bree is not so friendly with him, can you really blame her though. But soon they are heating things up again only Mat is still playing with Bree's heart from my POV.
I have read a couple books by this author and while I thought the writing was good in this book I did not much like the actual story-line. I think it was just not for me at the end of the day and other readers will love it.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2020The author portrayed believable and heartbreaking emotions in this story. The characters were wonderful together and it was hard to fathom his actions. I would have liked seeing him grovel or something. What was there wasn’t enough for me to forgive him though.

4 Push and Pull Stars. Heartbreaking and emotional!
Mat and Bree were each others first loves, but that all changes when Mat chose his career over Bree and left her broken hearted. She swore she'd never let him back in again because she can't deal with that heartache. And when he breaks her heart for a second time, she's not sure she can survive this one. When Mat comes back into town to take care of his parents, he's on a mission to win his girl back no matter what the cost.
This book is emotional on so many levels, but yet so beautifully told. There's a lot of frustration between the two and you can feel it coming off the pages. This is the second book I've read by Julie, and I can say it won't be the last!

4.0 out of 5 stars An emotional second chance love story
Wish You Once More is one of those stories that keeps you turning the pages, totally engrossed in the story. Mat and Bree are both great characters and I actually wished I'd been able to read about the beginnings of their love story before it all went wrong. I think I would have liked Bree to make Mat work more, but then love is love isn't it, no matter what happened in the past. Julie Archer's writing was excellent and her description around the festival was so in depth I felt I was there. It instantly made me want to listen to the playlist. A really enjoyable book and can't wait to see what comes next from this writer.
